With the doom and gloom about the world economy and shares, these times tend to see Family Business shine through. We tend to be able to wait patiently through the tough times and make the most out of what comes our way. Better still, we are not beholden to outside shareholders that demand short term results.

Although Queensland is certainly experiencing a downturn in mining investment and jobs, from speaking with operators from most sectors, it’s not all bad. Martine and the FBA committee are busy preparing for the State Conference on 20th May. We will have a great line up of interesting speakers at a brand new venue.

Sneak preview, it’s about dealing with the changing landscape of the business world. Something every business is having to deal with.
