I would like to introduce myself as the new Victorian State Manager and I am already meeting so many wonderful people. I am really enjoying being part of the FBA team and want to thank everyone for their support and generosity so far.

The We are Family Owned Emblem campaign is kicking off and we are getting very positive feedback from our Victorian members. Have you seen the new Emblem Campaign for FBA? If you are not already using the emblem, you are missing out on a vital marketing tool to promote your family business. Backed by the FBA national promotional campaign, I’d encourage you to view here and contact us to get the emblem package. The emblem is available exclusively for FBA members only.

I have been working hard on the Emerging Leaders Program with Anne-Marie that is happening in Melbourne this year. If you or someone you know is interested, please get in touch asap if you want more information. This is a must for any young people working in their family business to acquire the skills to equip them for the future.

My major focus in my new role currently is making the Family Business Insights conference (Formally State Conference) a big success! Already this event at Leonda on May 16 is shaping up to be very memorable, with over 200 family business owners expected this year, with celebrity speaker David Parkin, plus FBA members Matt Haymes, Ian Kent from Sadliers and Theresa from Luv a Duck. Hope to see you all there.

Warm regards,
Ed Horwood
